Blooming

Yesterday I looked out of my window and saw this creeper in full bloom. It looked so pretty so I thought I would share. Unfortunately I don't know the name for it but it is fairly common in this part of the world.

Hello dear Shashi. What a beautiful picture! It looks like glycine to me... I just checked and in English it is called a wistaria. (thank you! This way I learned a new word today...)
My parents have one in their garden and it smells heavenly. When we open the windows the whole house is scented!

Shashi, I meant to email you earlier but I've been very very busy with work... And I'm behind in my emails. I'll try to do so as soon as possible! Oh I so treasure what you sent me. Every time I look at the doilies it gives me a smile. Seb loves them as well! :)

oh deary me- I left a lengthy post on Wisteria - your climber and for some reason it got lost!!
This is wisteria - a very tenacious climber - 2 forms of it the japanese version and the Chinese version - it is deciduous and climbs very well and will get away from you if you let it- so keep an eye on it - but its is one of my favourite climbers and yours is magnificent darling
love n hugs bear xoxoxoxox

I'd love to have a place for wisteria like this. It would be the perfect treat to smell every evening.
